  7. Oscillations – Simple harmonic motion and energy in oscillators

  8. Fluids – Pressure, buoyancy, conservation laws in fluids


AP Physics 2

  1. Thermodynamics – Covers gas laws, heat transfer, thermodynamic laws, specific heat, and entropy.

  2. Electric Force, Field, and Potential – Explores electric charge, forces, fields, potential energy, voltage, capacitors, and energy conservation.

  3. Electric Circuits – Focuses on current, resistance, Ohm’s law, power, DC circuits, Kirchhoff’s rules, and RC circuits.

  4. Magnetism and Electromagnetism – Examines magnetic fields, motion of charges, forces on currents, and electromagnetic induction.

  5. Geometric Optics – Studies reflection, refraction, and image formation by mirrors and lenses.

  6. Waves, Sound, and Physical Optics – Covers wave properties, interference, diffraction, polarization, Doppler effect, and thin-film effects.

  7. Modern Physics – Introduces quantum theory, atomic models, spectra, photoelectric effect, and nuclear processes.


AP Physics C: Mechanics

  1. Kinematics – Covers vectors, displacement, velocity, acceleration, relative motion, and motion in multiple dimensions.

  2. Force and Translational Dynamics – Explores Newton’s laws, forces (gravity, friction, springs, resistance), free-body diagrams, and circular motion.

  3. Work, Energy, and Power – Focuses on kinetic and potential energy, work, conservation of energy, and power.

  4. Linear Momentum – Covers momentum, impulse, conservation of momentum, and collisions (elastic and inelastic).

  5. Torque and Rotational Dynamics – Introduces rotational kinematics, torque, inertia, and Newton’s laws in rotational form.

  6. Energy and Momentum of Rotating Systems – Examines rotational kinetic energy, angular momentum, conservation laws, rolling, and orbital motion.

  7. Oscillations – Covers simple harmonic motion, frequency and period, SHM analysis, oscillator energy, and pendulums.


AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism

  1. Electric Charges, Fields, and Gauss’s Law – Covers electric charge, conservation of charge, electric fields, flux, and Gauss’s law.

  2. Electric Potential – Focuses on electric potential energy, potential (voltage), and conservation of electric energy.

  3. Conductors and Capacitors – Explores electrostatics with conductors, charge redistribution, capacitors, and dielectrics.

  4. Electric Circuits – Covers current, simple and compound circuits, resistance, Ohm’s law, power, Kirchhoff’s rules, and RC circuits.

  5. Magnetic Fields and Electromagnetism – Introduces magnetic fields, forces on moving charges, Biot–Savart law, and Ampère’s law.

  6. Electromagnetic Induction – Examines magnetic flux, induction, induced currents, inductance, and LR/LC circuits.
